Wright Ratchet from Epstein's Day

Finally got to use my new 3/8 contour handle wright ratchet from Epstein's Day. Changed the plugs, coils, and wires on my Protege5.

Did it "work" any better than my old craftsman raised panel. Nope.... but it sure was more comfortable to use. No raised panels digging into my palms.

It certainly gets a thumbs up from me.

Try taking a grinder, with a 120grit flap disc to the Craftsman ratchet, to lovingly omit the hard edges.

Sears can't distinguish light buffing, from normal wear and tear. So the warranty stays intact.

A machinist taught me that.

As much as I love those wright ratchets I do not like those split rings, wish wright would have used a different design like the c-clip retainer with a small hole at each end.

Good tip on getting rid of the sharp edges!

Brilliant. That would have been awesome when I built my daughter's playset. I only had deep sockets in 1/4 drive and so I had to use that tiny wrench with raised panels for literally hundreds of nuts/bolts. Beat the **** out of my hands. I actually ordered a Felo 1/4 ratchet right after that disaster. The action isn't as smooth as the wright, but the handle is awesome.

I've been in your shoes before, and have the calloused hands to show for it. Just wanted to impart wisdom I had received, they could improve your quality of tool handling life.
