Wright Ratchets!

What you are looking at are some Wright Ratchets. 3/8" drive part #3426 and 1/2" drive part #4426. These are, for the most part, in unused like new condition.

I have split them into 2 groups, though. Group 1 are those that are visually perfect, show no signs of use, and to the best of my knowledge haven't seen a socket in their life. Group 2 are those that have surface imperfections from sitting in, I am assuming, storage for a couple years, or show signs of usage.

All ratchets are in perfect working order! Those with "surface" issues are easily cleaned up with a little more elbow grease then I have time for at the moment, and I broke my brush on some sockets earlier. Those that show signs of use still function flawlessly, and I would say are an still an 8 out of 10.

Please leave a message both in the thread and PM me if interested. Prices are firm, but I am open to trade offers.

Prices for group 1:

3/8": $25 shipped (That is $30 off MSRP, and $10 less than eBay) 6 total, 2 still available (4 SOLD!!!)
1/2": $35 shipped (That is $40 off MSRP, and $10 less than eBay) SOLD!!!!!

And a close up of a group 1 ratchet:

Prices for Group 2:

3/8": $20 shipped; 4 still available (1 pending)
1/2": $30 shipped; SOLD!!!!!!!!

I don't have close ups of these because each one varies. As you can see from the square drives, they have seen very little use.

What are you looking for in trade ?

That is a loaded question! I am pretty open to any reasonable offer. I need to upgrade my metric, but like most of us, I am a ratchet *****. Extensions, universals, and so forth are all good! I would really like a long handle 1/2" ratchet! Metric 6pt 1/2" and 3/8" are a quick way to get my interest. Pliers, screw drivers, specialty tools, pneumatic anything, and so forth. And anything you think might entice me, I am really open to any reasonable offer.

Of course, I am looking for professional grade here. I have a pretty full set of c-man already, so I am looking to upgrade that stuff being that I am making a living now off my wrenching.

PM sent, updated first post to reflect new levels still available. Thank you guys for the interest!

I would recommend getting in on this ASAP if you are interested, at least sending me a PM, I will hold one for a reasonable time. I have some co-workers interested, and a couple friends. Friday is pay day at work, and have a feeling a couple 3/8" will be getting sold, I let them borrow my personal today and never got it back.

Not looking to hijack this thread but are Wright tools pretty good? I picked up a 3/8" breaker bar about 12" long (I believe) for 50 cents at a yard sale.

That is a steal! And yes, they are top notch! IMO they are better than Snap On. They are designed for industrial applications more than auto, but they are perfect for auto as well!

They are 100% USA made from start to finish, and their manufacturing process is 2nd to none.

I am doing my first shipment tomorrow! I have 2 paid for and being shipped, and a couple more pending at the moment. If you want one shipped tomorrow, which means in your hands sooner, hit me with a PM tonight and I will get you my PayPal info.

Remember, all prices INCLUDE shipping, which is going to be via USPS priority mail. These ratchets are very nice!

41 tooth, double paw, so it acts like 82 teeth with the strength of 41. I lent one out at the shop I work a couple days ago, and now have 3 techs wanting to buy off me tomorrow. I told them they can pick through what is left.

This means there is a good chance this is your last opportunity to get in on these ratchets!

So 1 pending 3/8" and 1 pending 1/2" just finalized payment and are now sold!

This means only 3/8" drive are left, 3 from group 1 and 5 from group 2.

I will be, time permitting, posting up some other items this weekend... Wright sockets, a couple extensions, and maybe a few other extras.

I am getting ready to walk out the door for the day. I will be bringing a couple extra of the 3/8" with me just in case some of you want in, and can get me PayPal before I go to ship these around 1PM. I will be checking my PM on here as much as possible, but will be in class from 11-12.

PM responded too!

FYI, the way it will work with group 2 is that first come gets best pick. None of the 3/8" drive have signs of abuse or serious use, they just have grime and some signs they had been used. All I did was WD-40 the ratchets to clean them up and protect them. I didn't want to try and make group 1 ratchets out of group 2 since I wanted to be as honest about condition as possible.

I got some more 3/8" drive yesterday that look to be a mix of group 1 and 2 quality, and a couple 1/2" that are looking to be group 2 quality when I get done inspecting. I also scored a bunch more Wright SAE combo wrenches, most are Wright Grip, some are from just before the Wright Grip came out... as well a lot of adjustable crescent wrenches... you can see pics of the haul if you follow this link:

http://garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43744

My goal is to have these posted up for sale sometime Monday night. If you are interested in anything you see, shot me a PM saying "I want some combo's/ adjustables/ whatever" No prices have been set on anything yet, and the PM won't be you saying deal is done, just that you are interested and calling dibs if the price is "wright"!

My new thread with the new stuff is getting delayed a day. I was t-boned earlier by a person that decided to run a red light, and am just now getting home from the hospital. I am ok, and the car was just my beater, and will be getting plenty of insurance money to cover its loss.

Shipping is delayed a day for those that got stuff off me over the weekend, and I sent you PM to let you know as well.

I will be getting those that have PM me about the combo and adjustable wrenches pricing on it tomorrow. I will also get the rest posted up tomorrow, instead of today.

Sorry for the delay guys!

Hope you recover quick. Ratchets are less important than bones! Marginally.

You get yours yet? They said about 3 days since you are only a couple states over, and I got yours out on Friday. I am betting tomorrow or Wednesday knowing the post office, though...

Anyways, let me know as soon as you do get them! I want to know they made it safe and sound, I am kinda paranoid right now about them making it safe since it is my first time being the seller.

Not yet. They usually take longer than they say. So far you have been an A+ seller.

Thank you! I have been in sales, well cell phone sales, for almost 2 years now, and have bought a lot of items off eBay and so forth, so I am just trying my best to treat people as I would want to be treated, and follow what seems to be the "normal operating procedure".

FYI, I am not a cheezy cell phone salesman, I am straight forward, honest, and treat the customer like they are my friend. I don't like slick and cheezy... I have some co-workers like that, and it just ends up causing problems, and best part is that I am the #1 salesman in the region!

Thankfully I am slowly getting out of it... down to part time there, part time at a local euro shop, and full time school. Eventually, I will have my own shop some day where I put V12s in Geo Metro's!

Yay! I am happy to hear you guys got them and are happy with them! And don't be afraid to really crank on them! My boss was using a 4 foot cheater on the 1/2" he got off me today, and it took it like a champ! He was tightening down the new vise he got and figured this was the "fun" way of doing it... I swear he misses working on the farm equipment too much sometimes.

Very happy to hear guys! If you need anything else let me know! And be sure to check my other thread, full pics and pricing will be up later tonight for all the Wright SAE combos, and the adj. wrenches... I will also be updating this thread to reflect new levels, so if you wanted a 1/2" and missed out you might be in luck! I got 3 more 1/2", condition is an issue with two, they show cheater bar, but still feels just as nice as the like new 1/2" and the group 2 with some grime on the handle that sold.
