I have a Wright 3/8 drive ratchet in the 1/4 body. The Knob was missing, so I called and requested a kit. They said no problem! Got it in two days! Well done Wright! Always liked there quality!

If only conducting a Proto warranty was that easy. from what I've heard Proto themselves are fantastic. However my experience and others accounts from dealing with "authorized dealers" to get to Proto is the pain in the neck.

I went into/called a local Grainger, a local jobber, and even my friendly bolt store--all Proto dealers--and when I asked about lifetime warranty's on Proto they all essentially said, "We don't know about that".

/rant.

Now I know maybe I should be buying up more Williams stuff at the swap.

Proto warranty is easy, too. I broke a newer Proto XL ratchet and it broke after not much use. Sent Proto an email, replied back told me to mail it in. Mailed it in to NC, 2 weeks later got a new one in the mail. Pretty easy.
