Just got these off the UPS truck; 10 O'clock surprise?

These will be replacing some Raised Panel Cmans at work, and I have a SAE set that is arriving on Monday (#915 5/16" - 1-1/4").

I have no experience with Wright, so I figured I would give these a try over Snap-ons. They are "Wright Grip", which for anyone who doesn't know by now, is like Snap-ons "Flank Drive +" on their open ends.

Does anyone here have anything to say about these specific wrenches? I'm expecting them to perform nicely for their respective jobs.

Recently bought the twin to to that set in SAE , they are a excellent wrenches ,I actually prefer them over my Snap On wrenches.

Ive got about 5 wright wrenches Ive picked up on various trips to the flea markets and I can say they are great. They have a snug fit and good grip on bolts. No to mention they have a comfortable feel in your hand and are made in the USA! Barberton, Ohio, if im correct.

I am a big fan of craftsman, and most of my wrenches are craftsman raised panel, but if I had to choose between the Craftsman and Wright, advantage Wright.

When you compare wright and Snap on, I would buy the wrights! Snap on 11piece set from 3/8 to 1'' is $380. Wright identical set is $140 from epsteins.

How about a picture outside of the case? I have been wondering about purchasing a set or two [standard and metric] of the wrights, let us know how you like them

I have that set plus 20-24mm. I got it at Epsteins. Great wrenches. They aren't long, they have nice chrome, and they have a little weight to them. If I need long I'll grab my zero offsets. They will serve you well. Congratulations on your wrenches

I've got a similiar set in the roll that I picked up about 15 years ago. I love em. They still look almost as good as the day I bought them.

That Snap-on link isn't for the Flank Drive Plus , so expect the cost difference to be even a little more than that. They look great, and come on - they're wrenches. They ought to do fine.

I have the same set. Love them. The beam size and shape are the most comfortable wrenches I have. These are made for industrial customers, so the box end head is a bit thicker, and the wrenches are a tad on the short side, but nothing a ball pein hammer can't fix. And sometimes short is exactly what I need. All in all, they're a keeper.

What do you do in the rare case you have to warranty one? Send it in?

I love the type face on the Wright Grip. Is that a new design?

I have some vintage Wright wrenches that I think were made by MAC or vice versa or somebody supplied both of them with the same wrenches and they are great.
