Yes. How did you know? As a 7 year old, I find it extremely important to know exactly what I am buying. I only get $5 a week for allowance. I also find it funny that you ask such a question with such terrible grammar. How old are you? 5?
I wouldn't buy a car if the manufacturer did not make the model year identifiable, never changed model names, did change features year to year, and also had no information on their website to let me know what features the car I was looking at (even if I did know the model name and year) had. Would you?
I want a good product, and I also want to know exactly what I'm buying when I attempt to buy that good product. It's not unreasonable whatsoever.
Even Harbor Freight knows that if you change a product at all, you change the model number/SKU. Read that sentence a few times to let it sink in. Harbor Freight got this right and Wright got it wrong! Other brands like Snap On got it right, too. Different part numbers for different features. I know that I only want Flank Drive Plus from Snappy so I know to look for an SOE* part number. You can claim I'm being unreasonable all you want, but the fact of the matter is that Wright is losing business because they don't think it's important that I know what I'm buying. And if you think complaining to them is wrong, well, think of it not as a complaint but advice on how to get more people - myself included - to buy their product. I will absolutely buy their products when they fix this. And if more people email them and ask them to fix it, the higher the chance they will do so, hence my asking you guys to also get in contact with them.
Edit: Oh look, he's edited his post to link me a spline-drive universal joint which I have no use for. I was talking WrightSpline which is used for fasteners (Proto and Kabo/GearWrench and others also offer it on their wrenches). I don't need spline drive. I suppose I appreciate the effort but it does not answer the question. I seriously have no clue - not even SLIGHTLY - what products come with WrightSpline. I literally do not know if they even have any products out that include it.
