Rolex Datejust, Jaeger Le Courtre Reverso, Rolex Explorer II, Tag Heuer 2000, Arctos NATO.
I dunno why I have this many watches.
Rolex Datejust- the most comfortable watch ever, durable as a tire iron, loses a bit of time though. Have had for 15 years since new and only had serviced once.
Jaeger Le Coutre Reverso- Awesome timepiece, dressy- does not get worn too much. Pricy little ******.
Rolex Explorer II- A favroite. Proably one of the most versitle watches Rolex ever made, comfy and works like a charm, I'll never get rid of it.
Tag Heuer- have had it for 20+ years, dead on the time, never hiccupped- and this guy has been around the world with me. Comfortable with the stainless bracelet, awesome value at under $500 new.
Arctos NATO- Fun watch, good timekeeper, but a big sucker. Not too comfortable but a fun change nonetheless.
Cell Phone- hates water, tough to impress folks with it but always tells time like it's supposed to... Rings too much, hate Indian telemarketers...

My current Casio has weld splater on the glass, and after it scratched my car, I no longer forget to take it off when working on the car etc...

I currently have and like Seiko's but I'm saving for a Rolex. Everything else just "ahh" for me.
These people that think they need yearly service and that you HAVE to send it to Rolex for service are misinformed. Plently of watch repair places will service them with factory parts around my area.

G shocks are fugly, it's like wearing a pager on your wrist.

For those interested I think Sinn are the ultimate in "Tool" watches.

I would love to get the Sinn 856 someday, they are great tool watches. The U1 is built with German Submarine steel, hard as hell. It's good down to over 3000ft (1000 meters).

My Family have all had Rolexes for over 40 years and they are not a maintenance issue. Basically it is a tuneup every 7-10 years, $400 barring any unusual damage to the piece. I could sell my watches for what I paid for them no problem. My dad always told me that you can sell a Rolex anywhere in the world for a plane ticket home if bad things happen... Self winding watches will never be as accurate as digital or quartz movement- true there, but it is the same deal as high end wrenches or anything- whatever gets your goat. Hope you get your rolex soon, they are a great thing to own.

I bought a Seiko stainless steel watch in 1978. I've worn it every day since then, no matter what I'm doing. It is going strong yet after 32 years.
It gets a new battery when it needs it, and a new band every 10 years or so.

if i'm doing anything that can potentially snag a watch i will leave it off. Otherwise i wear a flip face batman watch my gorgeous friend Elise bought for me out of one of them coin-machines at the grocery store. Of all the watches i've worn this one gets the most complements

i have to adjust it about every 5 or 6 months as it will be 1 minute fast. i think she paid 75 cents or a dollar for it.

I only wear a watch when I dress up, then it"s a Rolex. I still have burn scars from a metal watch band and a alternator terminal.
