Looking for a set of 12 point sockets; I've been a six point guy my whole life but now I see I need 12 points. Saturday I had to replace the front wheel bearings on my Jeep and that required a 13mm 12 point. I had an old Craftsman 3/8" drive socket but I was worried about shearing my 1/2" to 3/8" adapter with a 24" breaker bar on it... Got the job done, and I gave that adapter a pat on its little head when I put my tools away. (I guess "75 ft-lbs" means "run it on with the impact" to the last guy that was in there...)
Primarily looking for standard length metric but will consider all. I'm in 20740. Amazon's price for an S-K set is just about what I paid for the entire S-K 1/2" drive 6 point set with ratchet etc. ~5 years ago, this is crazypants!
