Looking for a pair of press plates for a 20T hydraulic press with V-notch and/or round notch. Thanks

Those press plates from Swag are seriously meaty. I know nothing about press plates so I thought they were a bit pricey. But it may be a case of "spend well and never worry about it again". I'll have to be creative in slipping a $150 bill for two big pieces of metal past the family banker. Thanks

I thought that was expensive also, but after looking around you can't beat them.

I had a favor owed from a friend who owns a steel supply/fab house. He made a set to Swag's specs (they actually were not as thick) and after cutting them, he said no way he could do them that cheap.

Don't even bother with the cast HF ****.

Buckgnarly, I searched around and came to the same conclusion. While I might be able to score something cheaper they don't have the cut outs which are very useful or they are somewhat smaller - and in this case I think bigger is better.
