I'm looking for a 30"-36" extension, 3/8", 1/2", or even 1/2" to 3/8".

Check e-bay. I have gotten 30" or 36" 3/8 chrome and 1/2 to 3/8 impact extensions from brokentool for under $20 this year. Just search for "30 extention".
