BHM is the abbrevation for Bridgeport Hardware Manufactoring. They are the manufacturer of brand name 'Master Quality'.

33C is the Industrial Standard Number (ISN) for a wrench of size 15/16" and 1"

Hmm.. no actually

I am not looking with the Ward's marking on it. I don't care as much about the "Molybdenum Alloy U.S.A", but would prefer the plain, non Molybdenum marked if I got to be choosy. No interest in Ward's Master Quality, as I do not belive these to be supplied to the Government during the War.

What's that bout Jeff City Elroy? It sailed right by me ! :headscrat

In the movie, the Dirty Dozen when "convict" Donald Sutherland is portraying a General traveling incognito, he asks one of the troops he's inspecting where he was from. The enlisted man stated proudly that he was from Jefferson City Missouri. To which Convicted General Sutherland replied

Never heard of it.
