WTB Craftman middle box or drawers

Looking for a middle box as pictured. Trying to separate metric and SAE into the boxes that sit on my snap on lower box.

Cant help ya on the Craftsman stuff, (sorry), but just curious about your Snap-on lower box.
What model/year is it? just askin because I have a top box that looks just like it.
Mine is a KR690.

It's a KR560. 50 1/2 wide, 21 1/2 deep. I bought it off the truck in the mid 80's or so.

The one on the left and the lower box I bought in the early 70's. Hate to get rid of them, but I either need to find a mid box, some taller drawers for the top boxes or I'll have to scrap this plan and just find a snap on top box.

mtwaterguy - I too have been looking for a middle CM box of that vintage to go with the upper (like yours) and a lower I repainted a few years back.

I really like those older gray and red CM boxes.

If you do decide to part with your middle box, I'd be interested.

That would be quite an undertaking. Besides shortening the box down to two drawers, you would need to fabricate a sliding drawer cover similar to an early Snap on box.

i have a matching bottom that i may soon be parting with. not a middle, but probably easier to cut into a middle than another top box! lol

I was looking at the top boxes thinking that you could shorten a top box to use the bottom 3 drawers. there would be no front cover, but if you really wanted to you could even copy that based on the one you have being a pattern.

the bottom box cut doen to be a mid box would be easy by compairison and you could just make it locking without the front cover

Anybody seen one of these mid boxes? I have an extra lower roller for this set and a top that needs to be repaired or used for parts, that I could trade or will just purchase the mid box outright. Thanks, Mike.
