I'm looking for Craftsman circle-U with knurled band 1/2-drive sockets, 12-point. Sizes most desired are 3/8", 1/2", 9/16", 3/4", and 15/16". (see photo below) I might buy others if in excellent shape.

NEW REVISED LIST, February 14th, 2012
Circle U style
1/2" drive, 12point, 3/8", 9/16", 3/4", and 15/16"

Let me know what ya got and what ya want for 'em. Shipping choice depends upon how many ya got, in other words if ya only have one then I probably won't buy it.

Thanks,
Steve

Steve:
I have these items:
1/2" drive speeder-unsure as this might be cadimum plated? Works good
1/2" drive 3/4" eight pointer-very rough condition
3/8" drive sockets-12 pointers-sizes 1/2"-9/16"-5/8"-11/16-3/4-some surface rust internally-nice out side condition
Shipping is a bear due to size of speeder-would prefer a complete swap for all-no seperation. Looking for clean USA ratchet without owner's marks or????? PM me back if you are interested.........Cranky

Thanks for the offer Dan. I really hate to start another set to fill though. I just need the 1/2" drive stuff. In fact, Oldtoolman sold me 2 of the 1/2" but still looking for the rest.

Thanks Frank, your sockets look excellent, but like I said above, I am just looking for "Circle-U" style. They were only made a few years in the 1940s.

Not really JS. If you had others I might take you up on it. Just the added cost of shipping makes it cost-prohibitive, I suspect.

Thanks,
Steve

I know for a fact there is an entire set for sale at a flea market I go to. from 1/2 to 3/4 anyways. If I make it up there im sure I can haggle the price for you but he was looking for $65.00. Ive seen them over a month ago AND just last week so they haven moved. I plan to go next week if they are still there ill snag them up if you are interested.

Nawww, that's above my budget. My starter set consisting of 8 sockets was only about $6 total. 7/16" to 1-1/8", but I do realize that I might have to pay more than that to fill in the gaps. I would likely pay around $4 or up to $6 for each socket. Maybe a little more if they are in REAL NICE condition.

I definitely don't want any with owner's marks on them. In addition, the set you mention would only fill two gaps I need.

The way I look at it, I'm in no hurry and a seller that wants more must decide how long they want hang on to those. :)

Thanks,
Steve

Yeap no problem. Just wanted to throw it out there. To be honest these look barley used, only reason I think they are going for that price. Ill make sure to look out for singles though.
