Yes,I do think that chrome is very nice-but behind the scenes,you need the heavy metal to get things done! I am currently looking for a set of metric deep impact sockets.1/2 inch is my preference,3/8 a good start.

Just taking a moment to bump this up.I am also looking for impact wobble sockets in metric.Not snobbish-they don't need to be Hazet or Stahwille.Plain old truck brands will suffice!

I have HF deep impact sockets; I have never had a problem with them. I only use them at home but if I had to make my living with these I feel I could do so without any problems. You will find others that feel the same way. Search the HF pass/fail thread. Now, you will also find others that would not use a HF tool under any circumstance. In all fairness, if I had plenty of $$$$$$ to spend, I probably would go to SO, Matco, or Mac.
