I've got a long 3/8" Cornwell I got from my fiance's father, and think I've used it once. I'm home for the holidays, but I can get pics when I get home on Monday. I've always wanted to own a S-O rachet. Can you wait until I get back?

Wrenchr, why the sudden interest in Cornwell? Nice ratchets by the way, I really like the few that I have.
I've been the same way. I can't speak for Wrenchr, but I'm impressed with the quality of the ratchets and their warranty service. Also, Cornwell is a lot cheaper than Snap-On used.

I have allway's liked them but I sold off all the ratchets last year and I now want to get some cornwells back and I got burned from a snap on dealer again for warranty service and to be honest I'll sell off most of my snap on stuff if I continue to get burned. I had three ratchets that needed rebuilt and the dealer said he does not do walk up's.

This is probably the same guy who complains about the poor economy and how he can't find any new business........

No doubt.
Wrenchr, I'll be in touch on Monday or so. I like the ratchet, but I'd like to try something with more teeth. I had an old Cornwell that was similar to this one, and I beat the **** out of it with a 5# sledge and a 2' pipe. It never failed, or slipped.
What do you have from S-O? Maybe give me a list of what you are willing to trade or trade + my $?

Don't blame your ratchets for what some piddley *** knucklehead dealer does......you of all people should know better. I hope you don't turn into another autoace. :wtf:

It is not one dealer but many and I have had about enough. Mac and Cornwell dealers do not bat an eye for warranty service!! Matco either..........

I'm irritated with SO corporately as well as on the dealer level...I've thought about dumping my Snappy tools, but I'm too lazy to mess with it. Cornwell ratchets can't boast 60 or 80 teeth, but they are slick-looking, and tough as nails.

i would contact snap on directly......if the dealer refuses service they have stated that they will take care of it at their crystal lake warehouse.

what kind snap on tools you will sell??? did you check your pm???

i has no problems with my current snap on guy as even i break too many 1/4dr ratchets(36 tooth) and my snap on guy rebuild it many times. he told me to upgrade to T72 or TF72. i bought both as made little better deals while i keep other ratchets. while i used a lot of T72 and TF72, i has no problems and it wont break on me like old model (36tooth) does... the problems is me!!! i always push my tools beyond the limit level... that why i like snap on instead craftsman because craftsman always fail on me (made many trips to sears)... so i still do use craftsman tools but i already upgraded the tools that i use every seconds...

Thats a sweet looking Cornwell wrenchr. All I've gotten back from corporate lately is, "Contact your dealer. We don't do warranty by mail."
