I want to buy a Snap-on KRA63C in great condition for my race trailer. I had on back in the day. I have searched the world over and can't seem to find another. I attached a pic in case no one knew what I was talking about. Thanks!!

I'm assuming this is what we old farts called a Road Box. For my education:

1. WTF is a "pop-up pallet"?
2. What features does a KRA63C have which makes it the most desirable of all boxes?
3. If it is so great, why did Snap-on quit making it?
4. We'll soon know what one very good condition unit is worth. However, shipping for a 100# box will be expensive. What would you pay for one locally?

packard, it looks like it has a pallet that folds up with the top and straps, hooks or clips can be attached to it to hold frequently used tools. i would not consider it a road box as most of those had an exterior frame and elevated base. who knows why they quit making stuff. remember hard handles?
