WTB - Walden sockets

Hi. I have some Walden-Worcester 1/2" 12-pt. sockets (18xx) in a set and would be interested in adding some stuff. Missing 5/8" & 3/4" and extensions. My ratchet is Walden but has no markings to identify it (maybe gov't contract?).
My sockets are are later type I think, not shiny chrome (cad or some dark coating I think) and have the double knurling with the name/number/size sandwiched inbetween, and a hole in one side of the base for the detent ball.

The ID stamping on all the sockets is as shown below. Thanks!

Thanks. Go ahead and post, or email me. I am primarily looking for the missing std size 1/2" 12pt. sockets but a 13/16 seems to be something that might be part of that period mechanics set...for spark plugs.


I also have another chrome W-W set marked with a circle 'WW' that is missing pieces. I'll post those later.

I live near where the Stevens Walden manufacturing plant used to be located, and when they were in business, I knew the man who's father started the company. I used to buy a lot of tools from them and at that time, I considered them as "disposable", since they were inexpensive and I could always get more. I see them at local swap meets all the time, since they had a retail store that everyone local used to buy tools from. I will look in my old tool box and see if there are any left in there. Are you interested in any of the SW wrenches? They were also a contract supplier for Snap-On at one time, so they made also made similar items with the SW logo as copies.

Thanks for the info! My budget is limited so I am just looking to complete the W-W set of 1/2" sockets/extensions at the moment I'd like to expand and add some other pieces like the wrenches but that will have to wait.

You might want to post some pics of that stuff as you find it. I am sure there are others interested in the vintage stuff too.
