I do have one, but it's not a Weller, it's an Ersa.

Belonged to my Dad, saw very light use (he was into Ham Radio). Lemme know if you're interested, I'll dig it out and take a pic.

Ok
Busta can you work out a price, if your interested in selling? I live in Jersey.

Thanks Ed

Honestly never looked into it before today, don't do much electronic soldering, but it seems that this unit is worth more used than a Weller or a Hakko is worth new.

Didn't realize it was such a high quality tool, I think I'm gonna hang on to it. Sorry for engaging post button before placing brain in gear.

I have been using Weller stations since I was 6 years old. I wouldnt use anything else (I like PACE for desoldering vacuum stations though). The old ceramic handle weller's were excellent, with much better heat insulation than the current plastic ones.

One thing is very important! Be sure the get a silicon corded iron with the station! It will last forever and cannot be melted.

Another reason to not go with anything other than weller is the availability of consumables. I can buy replacement tips at several local shops, but I havnt seen tips for any other brands locally.
