Help! I picked this thing up with a load of stuff I bought out of a machine shop, but have never seen anything like it.
The base measures roughly 6-1/4 x 4-1/2, it apparently is designed to bolt down onto some sort of bed. The knob feeds the point into whatever it is supposed to feed it into, but has that slot on the side, so it doesn't appear to be a cutting tool of some sort.
Anyone seen one of these things before? There is no company identification on it.
