WTK: Billings Jacobs Collet Wrenches

I found these collet wrenches in a large military surplus lot I acquired a few weeks ago. The opening is 1-21/64” in diameter. They are marked with a Billings logo (/B\) on one face and JACOBS K440N on the flip side. I am guessing they were made by Billings for Jacobs, the chuck-makers, and that they were used to turn a sub-chuck. But can anyone tell me anything about the machinery associated with such a chuck? Also interested in educated guesses on the vintage and what the K440N might refer to. Does it look like a Jacobs part number?

Very interesting, I had never seen a billings/Jacobs collet wrench before now.

Thanks for the tip, Provincial. I wish the seller had shown the whole spec sheet. The row that he is showing doesn't seem to match the part number of the part he is selling. I'm also confused by the wrench. Does it make sense to use a "440" collet wrench on a "441" collet chuck? (Obviously, this is not my area.)
