The date code located behind the selector appears to be that of the 1959 vintage. I had a hard time veiwing it, so i there are no promises as to vintage.

That is indeed a 1959 date code. This is the earliest of these military ratchets I have seen. Prior to this, the oldest was 1960. These are very nice ratchets, with a cool history to them.

Interesting how the head looks like the PAR-X/Williams ratchets and the handle is unique to anything I have ever seen from Snapon!!!

I live in New Mexico, Las Cruces, one is called "big daddys flea market" on the way to alamogordo; I also hit local pawn shops. I generally don't buy on ebay; prices are way higher then I pay locally at the afore mentioned sources!

How about 25 dollars plus shipping. Doesn't hurt to shoot a price my way either.

Okay i'll take 20 dollars plus actual shipping cost. After this its on ebay. Please note that you can't buy a craftsman for that price.
