I just JB-welded a tiny magnet into it.

I take all of this back.

You have to push incredibly hard to get the extension to seat into the handle. Its a friction hold, not a magnet.

I got that the other day for a few minutes. When it came back my cart was gone but I was able to re-add things and proceed with checkout.

(Or consider this a sign from the universe to save money.)

Yeah tried again and got further on chrome. Had it in cart at final part of checkout and then it said there is no stock. Must be a mistake showing in stock and letting you add it to cart when it is really out of stock.

I picked up the 3 ratchet set on another order, its made nicely but I don't think it is servicable and the backdrag is heavy!!

Ended up ordering some of the flex-head ratchet wrenches. They are a spitting-image of the KTC that I’ve been eyeing minus the rad dot-texture. Also helps that they were about half the cost. Wouldn’t be surprised if they have the same OEM.

Zero mention of COO on any of the tools I've received so far. Wrenches, screwdrivers, sockets.

The circlip pliers have been confirmed as made in Germany.

That customer service representative is probably just looking at the website pictures.

Everything I've received looks like quality stuff, l just don't want anyone to be disappointed if what they receive isn't marked Germany.

So if anyone is missed out on the 8 piece deep offset there is a better deal. Just add all the wrenches individually to cart and its cheaper. Made my own 10 piece set for $62 out the door. A lot of the smaller sizes 6-18mm are 80-90% off and the larger wrenches are 60%.

The line wrench set arrived today. My only appraisal would be a visual because I don't have a need for them at the moment. They arrived timely but no communication other than receiving my order. Time will tell.

Well it was almost a good day..

Received one complete order and I also received this empty box. Packing slip says it should have contained a breaker bar.

The pliers seem nice. Might order some larger sizes if there is anything else still available.

In the picture M6z posted, it looks like he didn't have to pay for shipping and it looked like his order wasn't over the $50 free shipping threshold.. I tried earlier in the week for $17 of tools and it was going to charge me $10 for shipping. I ended up not ordering since that would have added over $1 to each tool in my cart. Was there a free shipping code?

Each of my orders were over $50 to qualify for the free shipping. One, maybe two of my orders were adjusted due to items being out of stock.
