For a company like wurth, they sure make it near impossible to get their products. Kind of wonder why. Can't find a local dealer, nada.
anyone know why wurth acts like they are a secret club and not eveyone is worthy of using their products ? I used to use their stuff in my shop but now I'm retired and my wurth stuff is running out. Thanks,

Have you tried the online store? https://www.wurthusa.com/ Edit: it looks like you need a company name to deal with them online for chemicals.

If that doesnt work for you call Wurth and get a local rep's contact info.

What I end up doing is buying through a local shop who deals with wurth. They use most of the stuff I want so I just buy it from them through their parts counter.

What does Wurth make or have that is so vastly superior to what you can get over the counter at most auto parts stores? Just curious if I'm missing something. :dunno:

A lot of their stuff is rebrands, but much of it is their own product. Generally its all high quality (old employer had an account and most of the shop supplies were Wurth).

I like their stuff as a rule. You can be pretty confident its good (German Company). Now because I no longer have access, I limit myself to their chemicals, mostly their Rost Off (penetrant, only one that gives Kroil a run) and their HHS 2000 "adhesive" lube.

Try some of the places that sell parts for German cars - bavauto.com, pelicanparts.com, turnermotorsport.com, ecstuning.com

Chemicals
Electrical crimp fittings
Shrink tube
Automotive Wire
Trim fittings

That's my short list.

It is all pricey, but worth it. Frankly I have trouble getting non insulated crimp connectors in the variety I use from anywhere else, and so I tend to bundle all my wiring harness stuff into the Wurth order (there's not a huge advantage to their wire, the shrink tube does seem better). The chemicals are in a league of their own.

Check the parts counter of your local German (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Porsche, VW) car dealer. You'll probably get better cooperation if you can find the partmen who work with the technicians instead of the partsmen who work with retail (key chains, tee shirts, DIYers) and wholesale (outside shops, body shops). it can be difficult though because often those guys are locked in some back room with limited access to the general public. Some dealers have the same people filling both roles.

Since you used them in your shop before you retired- Have you lost contact with your last rep?
Being a past customer using shop quantities, I'd bet he'd work something out to sell to you now.

Just call them and order some, that's all I do and they ship it to me. If you don't have a business name, make one up, they don't ask for proof of business.

Wurth has some good products, but as been said, can be pricy, but the quality is there. Their W Sol cleaner is maybe the best on the market. Like every company, you find something that you really like, then they discontinue it. They had a scotch-brite ball attatched to a mandrel that you could chuck in a drill. It was the answer for quick polishing the sealing surface of fuel cap/filler neck.......We went to order more for the shop the other day, sorry, discontinued!
