Thanks yeah I feel putting in a few hundred quid into it without disturbing the structure is the best solution.Effectively it provides more room for the temporary garage next to it too.
C-caveman and wayno convinced me to go back to my original ideas, building a seperate garage next to it.

I'll get some more pics as it progresses.



As to the triumph in bits, we seperated ways whilst approaching a roundabout at 1:30am.

For ease and inexpensive, a secondary structure is certainly sensible.
I don't know your budget, but a self build from wood isn't too.expensive if you have basic skill, some common sense and a good few hours spare.

Sit down with a Wickes catalogue, work out what you need and price it up, then phone a proper wood yard and watch 25% drop off the price!

The best part is, you could build sections in your existing garage!

Bad news on the tumble, at least you've still got 2 arms and legs, I've always gave myself a reassuring pat down after an off...
