i got the line dropped and capped off both ends. with one end i used a gauge and schrader valve. i pumped up to 20 psi. it lost 2.5-3 psi over 4 hours. i have submerged all the joints in water/ or sprayed w/ soap water and got no bubbles. is this acceptable.

the install video online said if there was no significant drop for 10 minutes it was good to go. i personally don't like any drop, but can't find a leak. is natural gas less prone to escaping than air maybe.

well there isn't a lot of volume there within the pipe, just putting on/taking off the air hose and pressure gauge you could lose a ton just by doing that.... youd be better to plumb a gauge inline and then youd be able to see the loss directly as you charge it with air without the 2nd chance to lose it when you check pressure with the tire gauge,
