As stinky as they are, I love Xcelite tools. Actually, the newer ones don't stink (yet?). Being that these have the "N" suffix, they are probably chinese made. BUT! This set is usually at least $50 everywhere. This seller on Amazon has the whole set for only $10.96 w/ free shipping! You can't even find the Xcelite 99 handle alone that cheap!

I just thought I'd share in case anybody is looking for such an oddball item. I ordered one, and it's supposed to be here tomorrow.

The ad doesn't have a picture, but it should be this set:

Aww, that *****. Oh well, even at 28 it's still the lowest price around if you need a set.

I just got mine today:

I just found out about this modular system after digging into an old computer repair kit my dad gave me a while back. It's got regular and phillips bits, some nut drivers, and the extension shown above. I haven't used it yet but it looks like quality stuff.

Yeah, the system is called the Xcelite 99 series. They made a ton of kits with all kinds of bits/shanks. I have a few of these smaller kits. They are the 99PS-60 (Bristol Spline), the 99PS-50 (screwdrivers and SAE nut drivers), the 99PS-41MMN (metric allen) and 99-PS40 (SAE allen). I am still trying to find a good deal on a 99PS-51MM or 99PS-51MMN (Metric nut drivers).

Checkout the other Xcelite items on amazon. The pictures are not accurate but the part numbers are. Quite a few things are very discounted.
