Not that set exactly, but you can find similar wrenches by Armstrong, Mountain, and Klutch.

It is made by kabo tools and matco has exclusive to that wrench design with solid box/ratcheting flex.

Close to them is the mountain long flex spline and and there is also gearwrench gear box but without the flex

No one else sells that exact set. that's why it's soo expensive off of a Matco truck. You can find other wrenches to do the same task as others have pointed out. They're nice wrenches but, a little on the thin side. Check ebay and be patient. It is made by Kabo in Taiwan.

Gearwrench has an XL Locking Flex Combination Ratcheting Wrench Set---

Gearwrench # 85698 (8 thru 19 mm) for $ 140.18 from ToolDiscounter or $ 161.98 with free shipping from Amazon...and a bunch of other places...

These aren't double box end, but the price is right...

Expensive is subjective, Snap-On wants $600 for their 10-19 set of high performance fixed box/ratcheting wrenches. If you ask me that makes the longer Matcos with the flex end look damn near like a bargain.

The closest thing to the Matco wrenches can be found in the KTC (Japan) catalog as well. KTC does not offer 11, 16, or 18mm and their version is reversible and the box ends are normal 12pt as opposed to the Matco spline. They, like the Matco, also cost huge cash. Unsurprisingly both are made by Kabo.

Part numbers MR15L-10F to 19F, bottom of this PDF if you want to take a look.

Those are much shorter than the style of wrenches the OP is asking about. The Kabo versions in question start a foot long and go all the way to nearly 2 feet long for the 19mm.

The KTC ones look sweet too. I'm not that familiar with their line up. I understand expensive. It's just that after all of these years, I view tool truck prices as insane. Don't get me wrong, the tool trucks got a lot of my money. i was very patient and scored the metric and sae matco sets for less than half of list. I still felt that was expensive. maybe I'm just cheap.

I wish kabo would slap their name on the tools and set up direct sales in the US.

For what you're getting I don't disagree with you at all, I guess you could call me cheap too :). Just saying someone could do worse (off the truck).

I got my Matco set off ebay also. I think it ran about 270, 2 pieces needed warranty due to chrome peel, and one wrench had a cracked ratcheting ring gear, but it included the 8 and 9mm that are only available separate so I thought it was an okay deal. From what I gather the student price drops to around $200 which is about right if you were comparing value to something like GearWrench.
