XL35 jack rebuildable?

Hey everyone, glad to be a part of the forum. I've occasionally checked it out before purchasing things, but would appreciate some input on something I'm having trouble finding information on.

My two year old Blackline jack has begun leaking from the pump pistons. From what I gather, the hydraulic unit might not be serviceable and can only be replaced.

Can anyone confirm that it's definitely not rebuildable? Arcan is of no help. I've come across seal kits for it, but they've been discontinued. Would rather not have to hunt down the seals separately if that's my only option.

But it does look like the entire hydraulic unit is still available. Is it unrealistic to expect that the new pump may last longer and was put together better than the original? Haven't seen pump replacement for these jacks discussed, I'm guessing because of its cost relative to that of the entire jack.

Based on what I've read on the forum, I'll be replacing this with an AC DK20HLQ, but I'd like to see if it's feasible to keep the XL35 as a backup or at least get it in condition to be able to sell it cheap without throwing $145 dollars at it for a new pump.

Thanks in advance,
Jose

Just a heads-up to anyone thinking about purchasing a new AC DK20HLQ. Was told by an online vendor today that they've had problems with leaking seals on these jacks recently and exercising the warranty through AC has been difficult, so they no longer recommend them.

Canceled the order and got a Hein Werner 93657 through Amazon instead. Hopefully this is the last heavy duty jack I have to buy.
