My lift has been installed and works fine going on three years now. It is a standard XPR-10. I took a Sharpie marker and made some marks on the column exactly where the carriage is positioned when it locks. I did this out of fear of what might happen if it was lifted to the max, thinking that the cylinders might hit the top doing some sort of damage.

My question is, will the cylinders hit the top? Or would they max out and bypass before hitting the top channel that spans the posts?
