Got a chance to buy one of these impacts on kijiji for $40. The guy wanted $50 so i offered $30 and he said $40 is his lowest. Is this impact any good? I work in a truck shop so i need something reliable with at least 500 ft.lbs. I dont have a picture and have not even seen it yet. What do you guys think?

Their not bad, i've been tooling on mine for 3 years, the trigger started to stick once the 2 year warranty covered it. Got plenty of torque, havn't had a fastener it could bust loose.

They were not one of Snap-on's finest airtools, everyone I know traded them in for MG725s and never looked back.

When I was talking to the guy he said the gun would sometimes run slowly when you don't pull the trigger. He says it goes away when you oil it but i do not believe that. What is the cause of this and is it worth it for that price?

For 40 dollars get the gun it's worth it. It's 40 freakin dollars.

And yes the trigger sticks and the anvil turns slowly, oil the gun and it does go away for like a day.
