I plucked this little ditty off CL this morning for cheap as cheap could be. I know it's not a top tier precision unit but it's solid and it locks down tight. Compared to what I've been using for the last 10 years or so it's definitely a step up. Disassembly for refurb is already done and parts are soaking for clean up. This thing had caked on crud.

There are no markings that I can see. Anyone have any ideas as to brand and age?

Yup, that's what I figured soon as I found that the bolts and screws were metric. Still worth the $10 it cost me. :deathmeta

Ditto second post. Bought it new a long time ago. Maybe HF - don't remember for sure, but it was cheap. $30??
I don't use it much, but it sure comes in handy at times!
I got the bigger one - 4". The only markings are a prominent cast-in 100. 100mm, I expect.

Oh, I almost forgot: for $10 You ****!!
