Here is my one of a kind finds.

Its a Yale chain hoist, Model BB. I bought it on a whim, not sure what I'll end up doing with it.

It works fine. Lifted it on a electric hoist and it works just fine. The swival on the hook even works.

This thing is so old the hook does not have a safety clip.

May take apart and paint.

May use it at my shop in KY if I ever get to move. I have the foundation for a crane, just need to build.

I just like the old neat stuff.

Cool find.

I have a national 1-1/2 ton, with an extended reel for the continuous control chain. This places the chain about 3 ft away from the actual hoist. It also has a pair of trolleys, for running g it on an I beam. My goal is if I ever get into a dedicated shop to have an I beam for this hoist, and have that running on trolleys on two support I beams, so I can pick up a load and move it nearly anywhere in the shop.

Me too! That beast is so massive they could have written out an entire book on there. Great find. It is crazy to think about that if that was not purchased it may have just been thrown away or scrapped.
