The boss surprised us with a year end bonus despite the lower than expected company results. The catch is that he gave us Amazon gift cards, so it's not the same as cash. Which the wife and I decided was a good reason to spring for barn heat sooner than we anticipated.
We're only considering electric options.
Right now, uninsulated on the workshop side, but I will eventually insulate/OSB in there. Space is about 25 x 20 in size. But it's split directly in 1/2 with one side being "workshop" and the other side will be "woodshop". Often, I will make cuts in woodshop, and then return to workshop side to do the work. (edit: I can close doors to quarantine one side from the other allowing me to heat just the workshop without wasting energy on the woodshop side)
From all the reading on here, I think hanging a Dayton G73 on the workshop side is a good bet for right now. Later, if the woodshop side is cold, I can always install a second unit over there.
We ok with my decision on this one? Also, on Amazon, a couple of reviewers have noted that the Farenheit model is the same thing as the G73, and it saves you about $50 to make that choice. Is that right?
