Got a drill press like that I bought 25 years ago, I paid $60 for mine then. Not sure what model number moine is, my table is slightly smaller. I need to pull mine apart and put new spindle bearings in it.

Yeah we're getting a decent collection of old stuff now :p

It appears to be an atlas 1020 bench top drill press that was swapped over to a 1060 base and post. I don't know what the table is from though

That is incredible. I'd buy that in a minute.

I'd do some more research on that Delta base. Maybe post on Old Wood Working machines and see if anybody knows what it goes to. There maybe somebody restoring an old tool that would pay good money for that base. My first thought was it might go to an older radial arm saw.

I think I found what the base is from. It looks exactly like what was on the Delta multiplex 20-A and 30-A radial arm saws from the 50's. The saw has what looks to be a cast iron "base" that bolts to the top of this cart.

Nice find at a killer price......the table on that DP alone is worth more than $25. The paint looks to be in pretty good shape, gonna keep it original?

We try to keep everything as close to original as possible. I may need to repaint this one. (DP) It's a little rough on the table and base. If I need to repaint that I will do all of it. If it were surface rust I'd just clean it and wipe it with a light oil. The base cabinet will need some paint, I'm not sure what I'm doing with it yet. I just couldn't pass it up for $5.
