That's a really cool set up.Going to make prep for next winter a lot nicer I bet.
I hope so, I need to get the correct belt to run it yet that is on order. will let you know how it does. It will be better than me swinging a maul over my head at least it will have staying power me and the maul are good for about 10 min then my arms are in jelley mode

Looks like a couple of useful accessories for the tractor. I hope you make use of them.

Work smarter not harder!

Isn’t your staff able to split the firewood and work the manual shovels yet when needed?

I feel the pain thinking about splitting fireood.

So it'll scoop up dirt, just like a drag bucket, but in reverse. You'd be surprised how quick that can make certain jobs.

staff is hard to get motivated and keep on task. Yes they still get to due the manual work that I don't want to due but if I can use some mechanial aide to help me along on the task I want to get done I wont shy away from that route as well.

it seems to work pretty good just have to be mindful of not bending the 3 point arms on my 3 point beyond use. I'll have to be careful to not ram into no movable objects to much. The 3 point arms all ready show some warpage but I didn't pay close enough attention to when I got the 3point that was it like that or not. The little forks I have had on the back and been used to push on things when I probaly should have had a better plan. I may have to take my 3 point arms off and put them back into a press to make straight and then weld them up to beef them up. they are not just straight arms and have 2 bends in them which makes a weak point for it to bend more.

Nice looking addition to your JD accessories. I love the new steps you built next to your home.

I also like the look of the rocks next to your old garage but like I mentioned before putting rocks or dirt up against wood siding/foundations and your garage could be a recipe for early failure. I like rocks a ton better than dirt though so it might drain off better.

don’t feel bad that your kids aren’t super motivated to help with chores because I’ve seen your kids working with you and having fun too and you’ve earned a ton of dad of the year points. Keep up the great work

Drives its on my list to put tin over the bottom boards to give them some more protection but I have not got that far yet. The Bottom of the top board is the floor level of the garage inside and Some day I hope to put in a actual Cement floor in the garage but have not gotten that far yet.

Sounds like just getting set up was "fun".
setup could have been worse, It was not raining, Setup Boy Scout Tents in the rain this year that was the worst. and I was thankfull it was just a steady down pour as we setup the dining fly and then could setup tents under that then move them to there spot's. Setting up in High wind and Rain would be darn near impossilbe.

Got setup and beer was cold so all was good on that front.

I just read from where you took down the garage to get started straight through. It is a great read and really nice to see the way you have continued on making the garage better every year while really getting the kids involved and being involved with them. I took great pleasure in the snow pictures (its been in the 90's here all month). Weird that I haven't seen a single cheese head hat on anyone or in the background yet.

As long as it's not seasonal weather related tasks, take the week and enjoy it guilt free. They grow up too fast, and you grow old even faster.
