How did he do? How much longer is the season?
Lost Won Lost.

1 more match to go then its wrestle off for state wrestling.

The team might have 4 kids make the state meet 2 for sure as they are returning state champs. The 1 senior has never lost in high school.but he wrestles pretty much all summer he'll be at Michigan next year on scholarship to wrestle there.

How did she do?
her team won 2 games which is better than what they ususally due.
was close in the 3rd set on one as well.
She played pretty well. she the best at willing to dive for the ball and try and make the save vs the other girls on the team.
Serves pretty good and had some good returns as well.

She had fun and it gives her something to be a part of.

Looks like you’re getting plenty of gym time these days!!

I’m guessing the sugar shack is idle or is the sap and syrup still happening?

How do the pigs and chickens like the below zero temps?

Here’s to suntans some more heat heading your way soon.

Thanks Drives, Yes sitting in the gym and watching the kids. I miss my Saturday Morning Basketball old guy group but that has kinda gone by the wayside.
Sugar Shack Pic's will be up next.

Chickens are making due in the cold. Had to put up a tarp windbreak for there outside run area
also used there empty feed bags staple them to the outside of the coup to help block out the wind blowing threw.
Had 1 of the Orginal die on us then had another one not looking good so got moved into the shop tor a while in the rabbit cage. Egg production has dropped way way off though.

Pigs are Holding out just fine they been in the freezer since mid october no worries there!

Got trailer home and its parked up by wood boiler so it'll be direct from trailer to boiler.

Then was just in 2wd and got atv stuck in yard in this spot. Wood shed is starting to get a bit more empty then I would like so brought home some extra or Ill use up the trailer load then go back and load trailer again and park by boiler. I have enough light left when I get home from work I can make a trailer run to the woods
to get it loaded and back at night if needed. If trailer runs out I'll just pull from the shed but.
trailer load might get me 2-3 days. I probaly have 14 trailer loads down in the woods that i just need to split as I load.

Or I can cut down dead trees from around the house and saw them up as well. The Dead tress around the house I'm saving for when its mud season to get them as can't pull that hill in mud and haul wood at all. Or the dead house yard trees are for when there is too much snow to get into the wood land to haul out and I need wood.

I really don't miss messing with wood to heat a house. You can have it.
Its nice when all working correctly.
To me it wasn't the $1200-$1500 a year for propane for the house it was the $250-$350 a month it cost to have just the 2 small rooms in the shop above freezing so bathroom and office with water lines didn't freeze.

Now house is at 74, Shop is at 65 and garage can be warm if I want it to be as well. I have the family woodland close by and all I need to due is find the time to process the wood. Different story if I was alway's having to search for wood to burn and get access to. That part is not a problem its just the time to get it all done. But heck you know there is never enough time to get all done that you want to.

I try to make my wood cutting fun as I can. Hence all the ATV use for Wood cutting since I like riding ATV's.

Spell check used to be better 20 years ago than now. Amazing that you can have foot of snow and ice everywhere and you still get stuff done around the house. As well as follow all your kids all around the state.

More dad of the year points heading your way.

I agree with your thinking if you got the wood and a little muscle and time wood heat sounds like a great option cause nobody wants to freeze in their garage.

So got my trx200sx prepped and ready for sugar sap hauling. I use this mostly because of the oversized mud flaps helps keed trailer cleaner when hauling sap as it can be either snow or mud out on the trail to collect. Air up the tires add fresh gas and go give it a test ride. Got stuck in 2 big drift banks but able to rock this back out by hand pretty easy. Tire chains make huge difference

What kind of air pressure do you run in the tires? I know in the mud and sand, I used to run the tires down around 10psi.
10 to 15 I would guess. 1 tire flat and 2 low i just added air till looked goid to me. Will find out if they holding air today. And as long as it drives straight and not pulling 1 side or other it gets sent.
