Clever little trailer for the blower.
Garden tractors will constantly surprise you. They can take a beating and will run circles around some atvs if you give them enough traction. Looks like your 140 is due for some wheelweights.
Can I get some more info on that front rack?

Got that from a guy over on mytractorforum his user name is dternus if your a member there you can PM and ask about it.
He sells on Ebay from time to time and has made other front hitchs and weight brackets as well. Look up his post on

my thread on Weekend Freedom machines has some pics of the front hitch.

better pic of the front hitch I use it alot to hook up different trailers when I want to back them into there storage spots its alot easier to drive foward and back a trailer into its spot than to have to back up the trailer with either the ATV or the 140 tractor.140 front hitch.jpg140 putting trailer away.jpg

Yes I'm alway on the lookout for some rear wheel weights for the 140 it would help out that little tractor alot I would think but right now they are very high on price if/when I due find them.

Snow Blower trailer is a pretty simple build but its on the 2nd set of tires as the orginal push lawn mower wheels I tried to use didn't hold up going around a corner the outside rubber on the came off and I was just riding on the hard center plastic. so went to these little Air tires and had hollow tube axles and the axles didn hold up to the turn either and snapped. so now solid axles and that has held up for the 5 trips I made with the snowblower and trailer. I don't need it for highway travel and the ATV will pull it regardless of the wheels but wanted easy snowblower on/off and hookup to the atv as well. it was all made from stuff I had so there is no cost other than the time to make it. I suppose probally $80 in hardware of stuff all said and done. But being able to haul the blower around with the ATV when plowing is a life saver when you get the big snows that take the ATV 3x as long as the blower will due.

Is the blower hard to load on the trailer? It looks like a pretty big step up to the deck.
if you look at the Pics there are 2 2x6 that are hinged that flip down on the back and the snow blower just walks right up them onto the trailer they then flip back up and rest against the blower for transport. The ratchet strap goes over the Impler tunnel and holds the blower on the trailer. If I remeber I'll take a pic of the blower up on the trailer. I just didnt want the blower sitting on the trailer over the summer those little trailer tires would probaly have went flat on me. Heck I should probaly check that they have air and are not flat and start the snow blower as well. Though I need 6" of snow to worry about that. And even 6" of snow the ATV would handle just fine as there is all sorts of room to push snow around here at the moment.

So have a some down trees and limbs for the storms this last weekend and I pulled all that stuff to the wood lot and got it all cut up and Blocked had the kids help and they did the stacking on the outdoor blend in Pallet that is for sketchy wood or big blocks that I don't want to split go there and get tossed in the boiler when I have a good fire base going. Kids need some work on the wood stacking skills but I guess it's all in the same place and I don't have to chase the blocks down all over the wood lot.kids wood cutting 2.jpgkids wood cutting.jpgoutside wood pile.jpg

Drives Yep boiler is outside and heats water that is piped to the house and heats the house. Garage and workshop are heated from the boiler as well.

Only have to fill the boiler 2x times a day and can monitor on my phone the boiler temp and get txt notices when Fire is out.

The House is Nice but there is alot more house that are way way nicer but they have a Bigger $$$$ on them as well.

i'll have to read up on your Broiler that heats your home when i have a bit more time. that said I wanted to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and here's to a great 2022 where we don't mention Covid and we both get in better shape instead of A SHAPE.

in case you missed it i'm in for your weight loss and exercise challenge and I rowed 15 minutes on my Concept 2 rower yesterday. I hope at sometime during 2022 that i'll be able to do a REAL CHIN UP again so I picked up an old Parabody dip chin up stand so I can.

cheers

Happy holiday season Sub. The new wheels on the snowblower cart are just an upgrade package on the build. But you can’t beat free or cheap wheels to test the driving courses.

I recycled a newer mower chassis when mine rusted out. I asked the PW crew about a dead one if they picked one up, next thing you know it was delivered to my driveway in two days.

I added two shots of the motor transplant, surgery tools and my neighbors chickens in the garden plot.

Captain14 thanks for stopping by and posting up Pics of your Mower Fixing!
I have a supply of old mower wheels that I keep on hand never know when you might need a quick little wheel for something.
And the Chickens!

Kids have named a few of the Chickens and they are tagged with Zip ties on there legs so they can be found when/if needed.
There is Dora the explorer because in the morning she's first out the coop and take off running across the yard.
Frederica the Friendly Chicken because she's easy to catch and like to be held.
we got colored zip ties so there may be more chicken naming in the furture!

Tractor toboggining is always a good time. Did you go fast enough they fell off?
I could only get up to 24MPH on the ATV thats all the power I had, Was pulling 3 fifth grade girls on the 1 sled and 2 7th grade boys on the other. If I turned hard over from side to side I could dump which ever group was in the narrow sled it just dosn't corner like the other one or if you get leaning to far 1 way or the other/catch the wheel rut the wrong way will also pitch ya.

They all had fun which was the most important thing.
