Just forgetful ...
I've been having some trouble seeing what I'm doing when I'm Tig welding steel or Stainless for a while. Thought I was going blind.
Turned up the shade to a 10 in my electronic helmet when I did much Alu. welding back in Nov.
Doh! Just turned it back down to 9 and all is fine...
To think I've been struggling with it all this time.

Your spelling is correct.

fancy word for cheater lens.

Most major brands make em for there hoods. If you already have reading glasses find one with same power.

I recently bought some cheater lenses for my welding helmet +1.50, WOW now I can see what I'm welding again! They work.

It is a lot better then trying to use glasses under the hood, when i try to do that it causes double vision, shadows or reflections

I've been wearing glasses since I was 12. I guess it's time I looked into this.
Getting rid of the reflections would be cool.
Just turning it back down to 9 did wonders!
