Well, the yearly clean up before the Hit & Miss Engine workshop has started. This years project may be less time consuming but being out of time makes it as intense as last years borderline insanity project. Here are a few pictures of what needs to be addressed. Need to add a shelf for my 1 & 2 Gallon cans that are in boxes, cleanup the shop and do something with the mess in office.

Little update, Since Wednesday evening I have gotten the 3 new can shelves mounted on the wall and loaded, reassembled the post vise & stand after touch up work, did black Friday shopping with the Mrs. and installed her new dishwasher. Tomorrow will hope to see some progress on the mess in the office.

If your shop is a mess, you don't even want to see mine.

Thanks 930dreamer. I try to keep up with it, but for the yearly workshop I need to have all the space available that I can. We usually have 4 to 6 or 7 engine projects to work on. Usually on the Hit & Miss Engines it is some tinkering or getting one running that has not been started in sometime. Year before last we had one that had not been run in 18 years.

Terrific shop! I've always thought I'd end up with a hit miss engine, but haven't got it yet. They are very popular around here. Here's a link to an album of a little show you might like. IIRC the club is the Wood County Flywheelers. Some tractors first, then some of all sizes of motors.
Oops, wrong link! Oh well, I'll leave it and add the better one.

Does your engine expertise cross over to other engines, like Cat diesels?

No Cat experience except for a D8H at my brothers place. Had a lot of fun running it but not an operator by any means.

Thanks. I have been to the Show in Denton NC several times and also to the Ken Eder get together in Carthage. My Brother lives in New Hill, NC. I will look at the links this evening.

Your garage is not as near a mess as mine is, I think I will name my shop the shoe horn shop, Because I am always trying to fit one more thing in it.

I like that name. I think I will name my garage the Tetris Garage. I have to move something to get to something else!

Lots going on this weekend and did not get as far along as I was hoping, but still overall happy with the progress. Got some signs moved around and was able to get the ones that I had leaning against the wall up also. So overall, a good weekend of progress. Got one of the big cabinets cut down to gain some wall space, I think that is going to be a nice change also. Thanks for following along.

Finished the unloading of the 3 show cases, moved them so I could cut them down and make new supports for them to set on. Next up, move out the old file cabinet, wipe down the wall and clean the floor.

Wow, I made it!
The Hit & Miss Engine Workshop runs from 8:30 till 1:30. All I need to do in the morning is move out my pickup & the trailer. Linda has the coffee, hot chocolate, lunch and snacks prepared. I am ready!

Nice collection. You have a lot of the same stuff I have, same metal tables, and other stuff.:) You have any pictures of the outside land scape? I can see thru the windows you have some heavy metal stuff out in the yard.

BUGTHUG, the David Bradleys live out side right now. I have them displayed with a different implement behind each of them and 1 with snow/dozer blade.
