We just moved into a house with a 3 car garage. The previous owners had the floor epoxied. It's probably close to 10 years old.
I think the original color choice for the epoxy is less than desired and now its definitely turning yellow.
There is not any peeling or delamination.
What are my options for making this look better?
Can we paint over the epoxy?
Re-do the whole epoxy job?
I tried to call and see how much to redo the floor. Estimates between 4.50 -5.50 per sq ft. We are refinishing our hardwood floors and did not expect that redoing the concrete floors would cost more.
Someone also mentioned I should consider garage force - polyurea coating instead of epoxy.
Obviously we can just live with it as is but would like to have a fresh look for our new house.
Any opinions or recommendations would be appreciated.
