I think this has been discussed before, but is there an easy way to remove them? It seems like the set of tires I have on my Nova right now have a tendency to stail the floor more than other tires... I put carpet between the tires and the floor and over time it STILL puts a yellow mark on the floor... I have lots of wax on the floor but it stains right through it. I'm getting frustrated, because I really DON'T want to dig out individual tiles and replace them, but it doesnt seem like anything will bring them completely back to white where the stains are... any suggestions?

Not trying to be a smart *** :bounce: lol

but if tiles are stained that bad why dont you replace them with a black tile where the tires sit . do a really nice pattern . or if you can get the stains out make a board up with 4 tiles on one side and foam on the other then pull car up on them

The tiles are already in a black and white pattern... you can't put a black tile where a white one goes, or guess what? You no longer have a checkerboard pattern. :lol_hitti

Unless I extend or shorten the wheelbase of my car, at least 2 of the tires are going to be sitting on white tiles. I do put something under my tires now, but i still would like to get the existing stains off the tile.

( awsome job on it  )

as for getting the discoloration off of the tiles never had good luck on doing it with the vct tile (did work for a cleaning service for a while ) rust, tire marks are a ***** they seem to stain rthe whole tile . you can try wax stripperfull strength on the stained tile with a piece of black stripper pad....

where in pa are you I'm in scranton area of PA

The stains are leached oils from the rubber compound, and migrate all the way through the tile; I don't think there's any way to remove them.
