I searched and couldn't find the most basic info, so basic it's considered a stupid question.
30x40x14' Pole Barn. I'm going to be framing out the inside and adding insulation and drywall later. Before I frame it out and add more wood work inside I know I need to put in Vapor Barrier.
With that, a couple of questions:
1) How perfectly sealed does it need to be? I cannot get Vapor barrier in behind the 6"x6" posts. There's a 10' span between them which I will be putting it in, but does it need to seal up every air space possible?
2) Do I just roll it out, and staple it in place like a madman?
3) And the roof. If I will be spraying loose insulation up there later when drywall is added, where in the heck do I put the vapor barrier? Along the roof purlins like the walls? On top of the insulation?
I know they seem like simple questions, but for the life of me my brain is fried and I can't put it together. Thanks for any help.
