Greetings gents, from SC.
I am just putting the finishing touches on a new garage and have run into a little problemo.
I built a freight lift to go into the attic (because of laziness and, shall we say.... the gravitational effects of too much pizza and beer over the years
), and have hit a bit of a snag.
I have a pulley that takes most of the weight of the system and the bearing seems to be wearing very quickly. In fact it ejects a fine black powder with use. I'm going to lube it with high pressure grease, but I'm afraid there may be damage already.
I need a cable pulley rated at about 1000 lbs but cannot seem to find one on the entrawebs.
Anyone know a source for good quality pullies?
Thanks fellas!!
