Yes, another high bay LED question

I have 4 Lithonia 2 ft high bay LED lights:

I got these out of a warehouse application and am in the planning stages in building an additional 24x40 garage/shop that will only have a 11-12' ceiling height. While I plan on using the Costco Feit LED shop lights for general lighting, I'm wondering how I might be able to get some use out of these high bay fixtures - perhaps make some mounts and put them high on the wall pointed upward and bounce the light off the ceiling (white painted drywall)? Anyone try this?

I have high bay LED lights mounted directly to my 12 foot ceiling in my shop and love them. No need to try and bounce off the walls. I would just mount them and go. I was concerned I was too low, but checked with the mfg and they indicated it would be fine. They were right.

In my experience, high bays mounted that low will result in harsh shadows.

I mounted these exact fixtures in a friend's shop with great results. 25x35' with 12' ceilings. We put in 6 of these to replace the incandescent floods and the results were amazing. He had a few work benches with cabinets hanging over them that we ended up putting in track lighting with directed spots to produce more task lighting at the Benches, but for general open shop space, these are very bright and definitely fill the room with more than enough light.

The problem with hanging highbays too low is that the light doesn't have adequate space to spread out before it hits the target. Highbays are typically designed to be hung at least above 15'. From that height, the beam gets a chance to spread out over a larger area which creates a much more even lighting effect.
Also, alot of highbays do not have a diffuser over the diodes (the one linked above does).
Glare *****. Even with diffusers, it can still ****.
Sure, you can hang them lower, but you'll have hot spots and not-so hot spots. Maybe not noticeable to the untrained eye, but, over time, you'll come to not like it so much.
Tons of light will be impressive initially, but harsh shadows, heavy contrast and lots of glare will make it uncomfortable over time.

Thanks for the input.

Perhaps finding a diffuser lens to replace or mount over the top of the "frosted acrylic lens" would help to spread the light?
