Hey guys. I'm new to the forum and have been searching and reading as much as possible. I need to stack two sports cars and am trying to find the best solution for my single-bay garage space. Space is a premium because I am already using the walls to store tools, a ladder, etc., so I've been able to rule out some of the more popular 4-post lifts here from Advantage and Direct Lift. I am strongly considering a Bendpak A6S scissor lift, but don't need comment on that as there is so much good stuff here and on the web about these.

I am also looking hard at the Bendpak PL-6000DC https://www.bendpak.com/car-lifts/parking-lifts/pl-6000dc/. I cannot find any threads on it here or anywhere else. Does anyone have one of these and can share their experience or at least know anything about them? There seem to be zero reviews on the web. What I like about the PL-6000DC is that it will take up less space compared to a 4-post lift, even a more compact 4-post like the Backyard Buddy Classic. Plus it has the full panel to drive up on. But also if anyone has other suggestions for a lift with a compact footprint that would work well with two sports cars, please let me know. Thanks!

Appreciate the response never the less. And in case anyone else is drawn to thread, here are all the other models I am considering in addition to the A6S -

Bendpak PL-6000DC https://www.bendpak.com/car-lifts/parking-lifts/pl-6000dc/ - two post with a smaller footprint. Would really love to hear if anyone has experience with one of these. I may start a new thread with this in the title.

AMGO 407-P https://amgohyd.com/product/407-p/ - four post with a small footprint

Voyager ACV7 https://aclifts.com/lifts/voyager-4-post-car-lift/ - four post with a small footprint

Why? When you have a 4 post lift with the posts at the walls, there is a ton of space between the wall and the platform that actually moves. All you need is space along the wall for the small areas for the posts.

The thing with parking lifts is the posts are right where your doors are. If your man doors for your building are in a good spot, a 4 post should give you much better access in a small space if you can find a wide one that stretches to your walls.

I have barrels and all sorts of stuff between my posts, (4 post lifts) along the walls.

That Bendpak PL-6000DC looks interesting!

I just had a Challenger CL4P7 installed in the 3rd bay of my garage. This bay has interior dimensions of 114.5 wide by 222.5 by 12’ 7” tall at peak. Pretty small footprint overall. The Challenger is the only lift I could find which would fit in this space and be on-center with my garage door. I’ve only had it a month but am very happy so far.

Good to hear. I am looking very hard at the Challenger CL4P7, which also looks identical to the Voyager ACV7. They must be the same lift with different branding. I have a single car garage bay but with an electrical panel that sticks out from the wall several inches, so I need something less than 166" total length and this is 165" per the drawings, which should be perfect.

Still debating between this and the Autostacker PL-S6R. Pros for the Challenger (and really any 4-post list) are the unit price (about $3K cheaper than than the Autostacker), install cost (about $1K cheaper vs Autostacker), and open center. I don't currently do a ton of work on my cars, but with a lift I may do more. You can buy panels for the Autostacker that open up the center, but those panels are $1K a piece and you need three if you want to open the whole length.

But I like the smaller footprint, parking platform, and simplicity of the Autostacker. Though it's stops are farther apart so there are less height options, which could be tricky for my 10'6" tall garage. I've got a new car coming this week, so I need to make my decision asap.

That Bendpak PL-6000C is really cool, and if all you wanted to do was park a car, and you never wanted to work underneath, I think it would be a great option. But there is no way to open up the middle on that one, so it is strictly for parking.
