Yet again another what is it tool

I ran this by a few years ago with no luck. Figured I would try it again. A completely unmarked tool. Very well built but am at a loss as to what it is called or it's purpose. Left at ease it has 2 small wire "ears" projecting opposite of each other near the tip. When the tool is placed in your palm and fingers are used to pull back on the "washer" part, the ears disappear into the body of the tool. Anyone know anything about this tool?

Locking terminator tool for CATV. Looks like it maybe and old Gilbert one.

BY JOVE, I think cable guy has identified my tool. I have owned this for several decades with zero idea what it was. I have no experience with CATV. I have since looked up CAVT terminator tools on the Net and they look almost identical. WHEW. If decableguy2000 ever gets to the mountains of Colorado, I will buy you a cup of coffee and a donut.
