Ron may have gotten fat but I like the product he's working with. I've got a 50 year old floor with what are probably abestos tiles and the black adhesive. I've been apprehensive about epoxy paint as a covering due to the amount of work it would take to prep the service with questionable results...but the vinyl roll out stuff seems like a great solution for this 50 year old concrete floor.

what about the gassing off of voc s?...........in a garage where the air change is pretty good, i have to wonder about an enclosed space such as a shop or basement...............anybody use this yet that can provide feedback?

If it's cheap, I kind of like the idea. I have to wonder what kind of nastiness will grow under it if it's on concrete and there's any moisture at all...plus how do you fix a tear? Tiles do have the advantage of being fixable.

My brother put G-Flooring in his garage this week and then took it back out. After he installed it he pulled his Motorcycle in the garage and the flooring bubbled up in front of him. He called the manufacturer up to ask why. They told him motorcycles cant be placed on it because too much weight in too small of an area, so a 800lb bike on 2 wheels displaces 400lbs per wheel. A car weighs 3600lbs so thats 900lbs per wheel so it'll probably cause it to bubble also . He then asked a few other questions, dont plan on using a floor jack on it will puncture it. By the time he was finished talking to them he pretty much determined this flooring is for looks only, its great as long as you dont drive on it or work on it!!! Oh yeah he also asked about the Commercial Grade material and basically got the same response

It's not cheap either. In Canada its $722 for a 10x24 roll!
