Hi,
Just thought I'd put up a quick post to introduce myself.
I'm live in York in the UK and have a small modern house with a very small garage built in.
I've been having a flick through the forum and seen some of the ideas that people have for their garages - I'm very jealous of the work shops some of you guys have - some are much bigger than the footprint of my house (but that's what you get with UK houses - cost a fortune and get no space).
I have a Westfield sports car and a Husqvarna enduro bike parked in my garage, as well as a heap of general garden equipement and stuff for when I go racing (jerry cans, boxes of spares etc etc).
My plans are to build a shed at the back of the garden, 10'x7' is the biggest I'd fit, make it into a half store, half secondary workshop and then fit the garage out to deal with the car and bike.
Basically, I can make it work as a decent garage but it will need a whole load of cleverness in terms of organisation and storage.
So, that's enough clap trap from me - I'll be around the forum from time to time and, might as well admit it, stealing your clever ideas for myself
