I pretty much get anything I order from Sears shippped to the store. Last time though it was MY mistake. Needed 3/8 deep metric impacts to fill out my sets. Ordered the 1/2 set. Not Craftsman, But Evolv. They look and feel like my Blackhawks, and They don't get alot of use for now. But I ended up exchanging the Evolv for Craftsman at the Evolv price.
I have called Sears CS on certain times and can say, That talking with someone from a strange land is ok, Cept when you want to get something settled.

Are Craftsman U.S. made? if not why buy them? buy your superb Snap-On Armstrong,Proto, Blue Point. You used to have over 50 Spanner[wrench] makers alone and not that long ago. Chinese looks nice, breaks nice too.

If your argument is buy U.S. then you might want to know Blue Point is all Taiwan/China...

I usually find the item on sale online, go into the store and find the item and get the cashier to price check online. Saves me stress and I know actually what product im getting

The Sears store here doesn't match online prices. I don't know about elsewhere. That's not to say that it couldn't happen, just that they have no policy statement that guarantees it. Not here anyway.

The ratchet I was trying to purchase was US made, that's why I ordered it. I don't want the "outside of US" (trying not to start a political argument) tools.

Full line Sears can price match online pricing via ipad transactions

Not sure how it's handled at hometown and outlet stores since they have been recently spun off

What did you expect its Sears? Don't think it was worth the saving in sales tax, seems like its introduced a lot of unwanted stress just to save a couple $$$'s. I don't know about you but I can't put a price on a stress free transaction.

I would just buy from a truck if you are dead set on having USA made, or check out Gearwrench if your not USA picky. I'm sure they will have a better quality tool than Sears and in 2 years you know Gearwrench will be here, would not hold my breath on Sears...........
