OK, I put on my helmet, catcher's mask, chest protector, steel cup and shin guards cause I know I'm really gonna get it from the senior members who are sick and tired seeing threads regarding posting pictures and listening to the dumb asses who just can't understand how to do it.

I have spent many hours trying to post more than one photo at a time and have reached the "I give up" stage. I am a member on the sister site, Ford Barn, and have had no problems posting without resizing, although I have not tried to upload any photos recently.

I did many searches on GJ and have read many threads on photo problems, several of which had the same problems as me. But, none of the suggested solutions worked for me.

I am using an older Apple iPad, version 9.3.5. Early on, I realized the photos I was trying to upload were too large. I downloaded a photo sizing program and was able to reduce my pics to 800 x 600 size. I still cannot upload more than one photo at a time using the "manage attachments" routine and the smaller size files.

I also loaded some photos on to a personal album in GJ but still could not upload more than one at a time to a thread.

I tried emailing them to myself and, while very cumbersome, I could do it. However, on the iPad, I could find no way to upload the pics into a new thread from an email.

I also tried connecting the Ipad to two different PC computers in order to transfer the photos but could not get either of the computers to recognize the iPad. An hour and a half on line with Apple Techs could not resolve why the iTunes app would not load the necessary drivers to do this.

Many of the suggestions I read pertained to resolving the problem with PC's or Mac's but I have an iPad with no mouse or right click button to do what many suggest.

I would really appreciate help from anyone good enough to suggest solutions. Hopefully the answer lies in a simple fix I have overlooked or been too dumb to understand. Meanwhile, I'll leave the protective gear on in anticipation of harsh reactions from the folks fed up with yet another thread on uploading photos. Can't say I blame them.

While some people don't like PhotoBucket, for the most part Ihave had decent luck with it. If you use a photo hosting site, you can easily copy the IMG link and simply paste it on any forum. No need to upload each picture to every forum you visit.

As far as I know, PB will also resize your photos so that doesn't become an issue either. If you choose an photohosting website, I'd recommend that you stay away from Imgur if you plan on linking them here. Imgur has prevent linking to GJ as we have a classified section which is against their policy.

doorfx,

Thanks so much for your suggestion to download tapatalk. I tried it this morning and, after some confusion getting it going without instructions, was able to load multiple photos into GJ using my iPad. I think I read every thread on the forum pertaining to downloading photos and did not see any that suggested using tapatalk.

Is there a way to use tapatalk to enter labels and short descriptions on my photos before downloading them to GJ? If I don't hear from you, I'll spend some time this evening trying to do that.

Thanks again..........Glen

I have used Photobucket for a long time, and once you figure it out, you just go through the steps. My complaint is that it takes too long nowadays. It just spins when you click the back button to change screens. Do you have the same problem?

You can use any photo editor you want. Save the pic then use Tapatalk to post it. It will automatically size it for you. The paper clip is for documents I believe.

Yes, thanks to your suggestion to use Tapatalk, my problem is now resolved and I can post multiple photos. It take a little while to learn how to do it but with a little practice, I'm sure I'll be a pro in no time.
