I'm not sure what this is. My mom bought it at an estate sale along with some old Proto and Craftsman screwdrivers.

Kovatch Castings is apparently not far away from me in Uniontown, Oh. Some quick Google searching tells me they're an investment casting outfit.

This tool measures 7-7/8" long. Tip looks like a flathead screwdriver but is offset at an angle. Metal is ferrous as a magnet sticks. I just wouldn't think it would make sense to make a screwdriver out of cast anything. Any ideas?

It might be a bicycle tire spoon but the tip looks identical to a flathead screwdriver. Might just have to call the company of this stumps GJ

Looks like a brake spoon. There doesn't seem to be too much info on the maker other than it's a casting co.

Looks like a pry bar, but from what I could find about Kovatch they build all sorts of stuff from plans, drawings, etc that companies send in. So it is probably just a rough built prototype for some company's pry bar idea.

First post here.

Had a tool like this in the leftover stuff I got from a family member, I remember him telling me it was a tool he used to remove stuff from hot molds.

Dont know what it's called or if he was using it for its designed purpose though.
